  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

Filling:

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar

Frosting:

  • 2 tbsp light cream cheese
  • 3 tbsp natural Greek yoghurt
  • ½ cup powdered sugar

Blueberry sauce:

  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 ½ cup brown sugar

12 servings

Preparation

In a small bowl, mix the yeast and milk, allow to rest for 10 minutes.

In a larger bowl, mix the eggs, butter, sugar, and salt. Then add the yeast mixture. Add the flour cups little by little, cup by cup.

Blend all the ingredients together until smooth. Knead for 5 minutes.

Form a ball and put the dough in a bowl covered with oil, cover, and allow to rest for 1 hour or until its volume doubles.

For the filling, mix the sugar and cinnamon.

Once the dough is done, roll it out and give it a rectangular shape (16 x 12 inches). Brush with the butter from the filling using a brush. Then spread the sugar and cinnamon mixture.

Carefully roll the dough. Then cut 12 rolls. Put them on a tray covered with a baking sheet. Allow to rest for about 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake for about 20-25 minutes.

For the frosting, mix the cream cheese with natural yoghurt, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.

For the blueberry sauce, boil the blueberries with sugar.

Add frosting and blueberry sauce to each roll, and enjoy!
