Pear and blueberry crumble

Ingredients

FOR THE FILLING:

  • 4 large pears, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/4 cup white granulated sugar
  • Zest of 1 lemon

FOR THE CRUMBLE:

  • 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 7 oz granulated sugar, best if brown sugar
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 5.3 oz salted butter, at room temperature

Preparation

FOR THE FILLING:
Preheat the oven to 360°F.

Put the pears, blueberries, sugar and lemon zest in an oven-safe dish and mix.

Set aside.

FOR THE CRUMBLE:

In a bowl, mix all the crumble ingredients by hand until obtaining a “lumpy sand”. Spread this mixture over the fruit mix forming a layer.

Bake for 30 minutes or until brown, remove and allow to cool.

Serve cold or warm, with or without Chantilly cream, and enjoy!
