Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 medium-sized eggs
  • 4 oz sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 5 tbsp caramel sauce
  • 12 units standard vanilla cookies
  • Berries to taste

4 servings

Preparation

Step 1:
Put the milk, cornstarch, sugar, and cinnamon stick in a microwave-friendly glass bowl. Microwave for 3 minutes.

Step 2:
After 3 minutes, remove the milk, add the chopped cookies, and microwave again for 2 more minutes. The result will be like a puree.

Step 3:
Add the eggs one by one, stir until the mixture is smooth, and set aside. Prepare the individual baking pans adding the caramel sauce in the base and the mixture over it. Do not fill the mold since it rises in the microwave.

Step 4:
Put the molds in the microwave for 2 minutes, and once done, allow to set for 3 minutes without opening the door. Once cold, refrigerate, hopefully overnight or at least for 4 or 5 hours. Remove from the mold and add berries over the crème caramel.

Enjoy a delicious dessert you can make with children!
