Ingredients

  • 10 sheets phyllo dough
  • 3.5 oz butter
  • 1 package cream cheese
  • 2 lb strawberries

Preparation

Microwave the cream cheese for 30 seconds or until soft. Set aside.

Cut the strawberries into quarters and mix them with the cream cheese.

To assemble the kolaches, extend the phyllo dough and brush with butter, then put another phyllo dough on top and brush with butter again.

Cut it in half, add two tablespoons of the previous mixture on each half, fold the two corners on the side and then roll the mixture. It will look like a roll covered on all its sides.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes or until they look brown. Can be eaten hot or cold, as you prefer.
