Ingredients

  • 10.5 oz flour
  • 7 oz cold butter, diced
  • 3.5 oz sugar
  • 1 small egg
  • 3.5 oz cream
  • 5.3 oz brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 14 oz blueberries

Preparation

Put 10.5 oz of flour, 7 oz of diced butter, 3.5 oz of sugar and 1 small egg in a bowl. Make a dough and put in an oiled loaf pan. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Bake at 370°F in a preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes. It should be dry to the touch.

Mix 3.5 oz of cream, 5.3 oz of brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of cornstarch, 2 eggs, 1 can of evaporated milk and 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract.

Add 14 oz of blueberries or another berry of your choice. Pour the mixture over the fruit and put in the preheated oven at 370°F for 45 or 50 minutes. It must be firm in the center.
Allow to cool so the mixture is firmer. Cut into rectangles.
