For the blueberry puree: mix the blueberries, honey, and water in a small pot.
Cook over medium-high heat until the blueberries are soft and start to collapse, around 10 minutes.
Put the mixture in a food processor or blender, and blend until relatively smooth, pulsing for a few seconds.
For the sauce: mix the tomato sauce, molasses, vinegar, brown sugar, and liquid smoke in a medium bowl.
Add the blueberry puree and mix until well combined.
Try it and season with salt, pepper, and/or spicy sauce.
