Ingredients

  • 1 lb 2 oz blackberries
  • 1 lb 2 oz diced peaches
  • 1.8 lb sugar
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Preparation

Put 1 lb 2 oz blackberries, 1 lb 2 oz diced peaches, 1.8 lb sugar, and the juice of 1 lemon in a pot. Stir and let it set for one or two hours so the liquids seep out.

Turn on the heat and cook until the liquid becomes thicker, about 45 minutes over medium heat. If foam appears, scrape it with a spoon.
