For serving:
Peel the banana, then chop and put in the freezer for 5 hours or overnight.
Put the berries in a blender and add the frozen banana on top, then add peanut butter and grated ginger.
Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Serve in deep dishes with chocolate chips or granola.
If you prefer to make ice cream scoops, put the mixture back in the freezer for a few more hours or until firm.
