Ingredients

  • 1 large artisan bread
  • 7 oz grated Gruyère cheese
  • 7 oz grated mantecoso or other semi soft cheese
  • 5 oz shredded blue cheese
  • 5 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1 small scallion, minced
  • 1/3 cup white wine
  • Pepper

Preparation

Cut the top portion of the bread and remove the center of the bread, making sure not to damage the crust or walls, since it will serve as a container.

Mix the cheeses, minced scallion, wine, pepper, and blueberries in a bowl.

Stuff the bread with the cheese mixture and put in the oven with top and bottom heat at 400°F. Wait for 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the oven, until the bread is a bit brown (it is important that it is crunchy), the cheese has melted, and the surface starts to brown as well. If necessary, finish under the grill 5 minutes to brown the surface a bit more.

Serve together with bread, crackers, breadsticks, or any other ingredient to taste. Once you are out of stuffing, split the bread filled with cheese with your hands.
