At Hortifrut, we continue working in the prevention of COVID-19, as part of our social responsibility activities, this year the agribusiness corporations that are members of APTCH, like us, came together to develop the “Yo me cuido con la APTCH” (I take care of myself with APTCH)” health campaign.
This campaign was aimed at preventing COVID-19 and strengthening the safety and health protocols in the community. Therefore we offered medical consultations with physicians, who provided ivermectin supplies, vaccines against influenza for all ages, free medicine to fight the virus, as well as masks to raise awareness on their use.
In Chao, the health campaign was conducted in the Valle de Dios square, the location that has registered the highest number of cases during the pandemic. Here, 345 medical consultations for children and adults were provided.While in Alto Salaverry, 224 medical consultations for children and adults were provided.
