296 families from Tequila in Mexico are provided with basic grocery supplies

May 18, 2020

The COVID-19 pandemic has had an economic impact on many sectors, specially those which depend on tourism. That is the case of Tequila, a town described as “magical” where many of its inhabitants lost their jobs because of the sanitary emergency. That is why Hortifrut Mexico decided to help 296 families with basic grocery supplies, which were delivered to the municipal president Alfonso Magallanes, who is responsible for distributing them to the most vulnerable people in his community, such as older adults, single mothers, pregnant women, and unemployed people.
